Kaury C. Edwards

Kaury Edwards was born and raised as a lifelong United Methodist in the panhandle of Texas. He received his Bachelor of Arts in Religion from Wayland Baptist University, a Master of Divinity and Master of Theology in World Missions and Evangelism from Asbury Theological Seminary, and a Doctor of Ministry focused on Leadership Innovation from Duke University. He is an ordained elder of the United Methodist Church. He has served as a missionary in 33 countries, the longest being with The General Board of Global Ministries in South Korea. In Seminary, Kaury and his wife Ashley planted an emergent house church in Wilmore, Kentucky. He has served in rural and urban local churches in Northwest Texas, Kentucky, and actively serves in a local United Methodist Church in the Western North Carolina Conference. Kaury and his wife have one son. They are avid Duke Anything fans and have fallen in love with all the wonder and beauty of the State of North Carolina.
